Mew mysteries!

We all know about the Pokémon Mansion and its link with Mewtwo and Mew, as it was were they attempted to make a clone of Mew using technology, this birthed an enraged Mewtwo which broke out of the mansion while destroying everything in its path.


Well there's more to it than you think.

On Cinnabar island, the scientists which carried out the experiments were from the Pokémon Lab, which was founded by none other than Mr. Fuji. In the basement of the Pokémon Mansion, there is a particular wild Pokémon you can find, this is ditto.

Ditto and Mew have some weird coincidences, such as their colours both matching in normal and shiny. As well as this, they both in the first generation are the only Pokémon which can learn transform. They both have very similar heights and weights...

These things have lead to the conclusion of Pokémon fans everywhere that ditto is just failed attempts at cloning mew.

Jynx is secretly a Kecleon?

Ok, not literally. But it was meant to be funny. Anyway Jynx's colour change is quite a controversial topic, in the early days of the anime, and pokémon yellow she was portrayed with black skin. Due to complaints of certain picky people, just saying, made game freak change her from black to purple.
